Splits Workshop

at Yoga and the Beach Studio (1800 Sir Tyler Dr, Wilmington, NC)
Hanumanasana or front split is a desired asana on its own but it is also an important component of asana practice as a whole.
This workshop is focused on the functional approach to splits.
You will learn active stretches and mobility drills to help you make your splits strong, deep and safe.
This workshop is for you if:
you are working on legs flexibility and towards your splits
you already have front split and want to deepen it and learn variations
You will learn:
anatomy insights for the splits
legs flexibility routine you can incorporate into your daily practice
dynamic stretches
mobility drills
passive stretches
different variations like standing splits, dancers pose, extended side plank, visvamittrasana, extended camel, flying splits
various transitions like descending to split without hands, extended side plank, standing split to handstand, etc.
Am I too beginner for this workshop?
NO! The drills I’m teaching are great for all levels. You don’t have to have a full split to work on it. If you never work on this, you never get it.
